Summary

mt5depot.com has two sources of revenue, and both are disclosed on this page:

1. Introducing-broker (IB) commissions. We participate in IB programmes with the brokers listed on this site. When you open a live trading account through a link on mt5depot, we may receive a commission from that broker.
2. The paid mt5depot Builder licence. We sell a one-time licence for our no-code MQL5 code generator, directly to users.

Every Expert Advisor on this site is free to download, and no purchase is ever required to obtain one.

What Is an Introducing Broker?

An introducing broker (IB) is an entity that refers traders to a regulated broker and receives compensation — typically a share of the spread or a per-lot commission — in exchange for the referral. We act as an IB for the brokers listed on this site.

How It Works

1. You browse broker reviews and EA listings on mt5depot.
2. If you choose to open a live trading account at a listed broker, you click a link on mt5depot.
3. The broker tracks that you came from mt5depot via a unique IB code embedded in the link.
4. When you trade, the broker shares a small portion of the spread or commission with us.
5. You pay no extra fees — IB commissions are paid by the broker from their own revenue.

How We Are Compensated

Compensation is received in one or more of the following forms:

• Revenue share: A percentage of the spread or commission generated by referred accounts.
• Per-lot rebate: A fixed amount per standard lot traded by referred accounts.
• CPA (Cost Per Acquisition): A one-time payment when a referred account meets minimum deposit or trading requirements.

The specific compensation structure varies by broker and is subject to our IB agreements, which are confidential commercial contracts. We do not disclose exact commission rates.

We do not hold an approved IB agreement with every broker we list. Where an application is not yet approved, the link on that broker's page is the broker's ordinary website address, carries no tracking, and earns us nothing — the broker stays listed on its editorial merits alone.

What We Sell Directly

IB commissions are not our only income. We also sell a paid licence for mt5depot Builder, our browser-based tool that generates MQL5 source code. It is a one-time purchase that does not expire, and it is bought from us — not from a broker. Current pricing is on the pricing page; what the licence includes is set out in Section 7 of our Terms of Service.

The Builder has a free tier that generates and compiles a ready-to-run file at no charge. Buying a licence is optional, is unrelated to any broker, and never affects which brokers or EAs we list.

Broker Selection

We only list brokers that meet our minimum standards for regulation, execution quality, and client service. Having an IB agreement with us does not guarantee listing — brokers are reviewed independently using the criteria disclosed in our Testing Methodology. Brokers that fail to meet our standards are not listed, regardless of commercial arrangements.

An IB agreement is also not a condition of being listed — as noted above, some listed brokers earn us nothing at all.

Editorial Independence

Our broker reviews and rankings are produced by the MT5 Depot Editorial Team independently of our commercial arrangements, under the safeguards described in our Editorial Policy. The criteria used for broker selection and scoring are disclosed in our Testing Methodology. A broker's IB arrangement with us does not guarantee a positive review or higher ranking.

We list brokers we have evaluated against the criteria set out in our Testing Methodology, using publicly documented trading conditions and, where available, hands-on account testing. If we determine a broker no longer meets our standards, we reserve the right to delist them regardless of the commercial relationship.

Free EA Downloads

All Expert Advisors listed on mt5depot are available at no charge, and we do not sell Expert Advisors. The EA library is funded by IB commissions. You are not required to open a broker account through our links, or to buy a Builder licence, to download any EA.

No Additional Cost to You

Our IB commission is paid by the broker from their own revenue. Using our links does not increase the spreads, fees, or any other costs you pay as a trader. Where an IB arrangement gives referred traders conditions that differ from the broker's standard offer, that difference is stated on the relevant broker page; we make no general claim to better pricing.

Where the Disclosure Appears

Each broker profile page carries a disclosure stating that the IB referral on that page earns mt5depot a commission when you open an account and trade, and that spreads, fees, and execution are set by the broker. The broker index carries the same disclosure for the catalogue as a whole. The footer of every page states our passive-solicitation model and links to this page.
