Declaración de Divulgación de Riesgos
Important: Trading foreign exchange, CFDs, and derivative instruments involves a high degree of risk and may result in the loss of your entire invested capital. Any trading you do happens in an account with a third-party broker, not with mt5depot. You should only trade with money you can afford to lose.
1. What This Service Is — and Is Not
mt5depot.com distributes software: free MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisors and a no-code builder that generates MQL5 source code. We are not a broker, dealer, or counterparty. We do not hold client funds, execute orders, offer CFDs or forex, or manage accounts.
All trading takes place in an account you open with a third-party broker of your choosing. The risks described below arise from that trading and from the way you use the software — not from any service we provide as a financial institution.
2. General Risk Warning — Leveraged Trading
CFDs (Contracts for Difference) and foreign exchange ("forex") are complex leveraged instruments. Most retail accounts trading leveraged products lose money. Leverage works both for and against you, and losses can equal or exceed your deposit. Before running any strategy on a live account, make sure you understand how these instruments work at your broker and whether you can afford to lose the capital involved.
3. Past Performance
Past performance of any Expert Advisor, strategy, or trading system featured on mt5depot.com is not indicative of future results. All backtest results presented on this site are historical simulations conducted under specific assumptions. Backtests:
- Do not account for real-world slippage and execution delays.
- May use idealised spread assumptions that differ from live conditions.
- Are subject to curve-fitting or over-optimisation risk.
- Cannot predict how a strategy will behave under future market conditions.
4. Expert Advisor Risks
Automated trading systems (Expert Advisors) carry specific risks including but not limited to:
- Technical failure: Platform disconnections, internet outages, or software errors can cause missed trades or incorrect executions.
- Broker dependency: EA performance depends on broker execution quality, spreads, and server reliability. Results may differ materially between brokers.
- Parameter sensitivity: EAs may be sensitive to small changes in input parameters. Default settings may not be optimal for your account size or risk tolerance.
- Regime change: Strategies optimised for specific market regimes may underperform or fail entirely when market conditions change.
5. Builder and Generated Code Risks
mt5depot Builder turns the blocks and templates you select into MQL5 source code. It does not evaluate whether your strategy is sound, and it does not trade. Using it carries risks that are distinct from those of a ready-made EA:
- The strategy is yours. We supply the tool, not the trading idea. Generated code reflects the logic you assembled, including any flawed assumption in it. A strategy being easy to build is not evidence that it works.
- Review and test before going live. Generated code is unaudited output. Read it, compile it, and test it on a demo account before risking real capital. Do not run generated code on a live account you cannot afford to lose.
- Built-in tests have limits. The strength test and robustness matrix compute statistics from historical data under stated assumptions. They can flag fragility; they cannot establish that a strategy will be profitable in future conditions.
- Broker and symbol mismatch. Generated code may behave differently or fail outright depending on your broker's symbol names, minimum lot, stop level, hedging or FIFO rules, execution model, and swap. Code that works on one account may not work on another.
- Your changes are yours. Once you edit generated source, its behaviour is your responsibility. We cannot support or reason about modified code.
- No exclusivity. Other users selecting the same blocks may generate substantially similar code. Do not assume a generated strategy is unique to you or that any edge in it is protected.
6. Leverage Risk
Leveraged products amplify both gains and losses. Using high leverage can result in losses exceeding your initial deposit. Leverage is a property of the account and instrument set by your broker, not a setting inside an EA — but the position sizing, stop distances, and exposure in the code you run determine how much of that leverage you actually use. You are responsible for both.
7. No Financial Advice
Nothing on mt5depot.com constitutes investment advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to trade any specific instrument or strategy. We are not a licensed financial adviser, broker, or fund manager in any jurisdiction. You should seek independent, regulated financial advice before making any trading decision.
8. Restricted Jurisdictions
The Service is not directed at residents of the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, Belgium, or any jurisdiction where such content would be contrary to local law. Residents of Restricted Jurisdictions must not use this Service. See our Restricted Jurisdictions page.
9. Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for every trading decision you make using information, EAs, or generated code obtained from this Service, and for validating that code before deploying it. We accept no liability for trading losses arising from use of the Service, any EA downloaded from it, or any code produced with the Builder. See also our Terms of Service.
Risk Warning: mt5depot supplies software, not trading services — any trading happens in an account with a third-party broker. Trading leveraged instruments involves significant risk and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance and backtests are not reliable indicators of future results. The Service is not directed at residents of the United States, Japan, or other Restricted Jurisdictions.
